EARLVILLE - The Earlville Opera House presents the final performers in its 2025 Courtyard Series on Saturday, August 23 at 7 p.m. The Chickadee Sisters will appear with special musical guests Bob Ford, Brian McDowell and Steve Skollar in our lovely outdoor Courtyard.
Tickets are $20/$18 members, and $10 for youth 17 and under. Call (315) 691-3550 for tickets or purchase them at www.earlvilleoperahouse.com. This series is sponsored by Sidney Federal Credit Union.
The Chickadee Sisters is a group of regional women musicians: Anne Leone (vocals, violin, guitar), Maren Meyer-Wendt (vocals, guitar), and Reyna Stagnaro (vocals, mandolin, tenor guitar). They blend distinctive vocals, soaring harmonies, top musicianship and an eclectic mix of soul, jazz, original, contemporary and traditional tunes. Surpassing simply a reunion of their widely popular band The Chickadees (2000-2008), this new venture reflects The Chickadee Sisters’ individual musical journeys over the past two decades and celebrates their enduring friendship and musical bond.
The Chickadee Sisters will be joined by special featured guest musicians Bob Ford on piano, Brian McDowell on bass, and Steve Skollar on mandolin. This is a prize collection of musicians not to be missed on a sweet summer evening.
The Courtyard is undergoing expansion, with the continued debut of a new mural added to EOH’s 1892 National Landmark building. While onsite, you’ll get to view the newest addition to EOH’s 1892 building- a period mural highlighting the architecture of the theater’s interior with an era-themed band playing in full glory.
Our galleries are featuring the annual Quilt Show (vote for your favorite!) and the Artisan Gift Shop is open during the show.
